They do have a 2 year warranty but I don't know how easy that would be to use. So if you're hesitant to buy a Chinese radio, I don't blame you, but it seems they really used quality components in these and its performance leaves nothing lacking. I also purchased their dash cam(uses a USB port) which is decent but the GPS and speed(km/h only) are extremely inaccurate so i just turned them off. The screen is also removable, just connected by a single ribbon cable. It also has a Coaxial Output and an Optical Output for single wire audio signal to an aftermarket amp that accepts it. It has two USB ports(one is an OTG that I have connected to a PS3 controller for gaming) in the back and a single RCA for rear camera input. front doors and tweeters: JL audio C5-570 components. Ill be using the pac amp pro to connect the upgraded amps. But Im not sure about amp sizes and may have oversized the amps. You can also install custom launcher software to customize it however you like. I am looking for some advice on my system install.

Android 12 Car Stereo for Ford F150/F250/F350 2004-2014 2G RAM+32G ROM, 7 Inch IPS Touch Screen Car Radio with Wireless Carplay/Android Auto,GPS, WiFi. The text in settings is a bit small and difficult to see while driving, but can be adjusted to your liking in the developer options "Set maximum width". Complete Kit Upgrade for 2009-2014 Ford F-150 (All Trim Levels): Includes Multimedia radio, replacement dash kit, harness. It has 1200p resolution and is very responsive and can run anything an android phone can, including Apple Car Play for the OP. It mounts as flush as it can considering its a 10" screen. I used the standard Metra mounting kit for an '07 F150, Metra main harness(incl sub harness)and I bought the 12v-5v converter for the factory amp remote signal. I had no issues connecting steering wheel controls(1-wire) or the factory sub remote wire. Compared to $1,500.00 for the same size Pioneer DMH-WT8600NEX. It has everything I was looking for at a far lower price.Īt the time of this post, the cost is $489 for the upgraded 6GB RAM with 128GB of storage. But after extensive research I pulled the trigger on the following unit. I want to replace the factory front speakers but do not want to cut or tap into any wires (cutting the wire to the tweeter in the pillar OK) and. I quickly dismissed it at first until I kept finding prices higher and higher for name-brand units. 2015 - 2020 Ford F150 - 2017 stereo upgrade - I put this over in the stereo forum but did not receive any responses. Until a friend got me looking into the Chinese android radios. Not wanting to settle for something cheap, but everything that had what I wanted was out of my budget. I have been shopping off and on for years now. I have the "Audiophile" system with the factory sub. Just want to “plug and play” haha.About 2 weeks ago I replaced the head unit in my 2007 Lariat. I have reached out to plugnplay kits and waiting to hear back, will probably go that route out of convenience and the fact that I do not want to cut or tap into any factory wires at this juncture. What are some quality middle of the road speakers that would pair well with the key power wise? Wouldn’t mind sticking with kicker as I have used in the past but I am very open to suggestions. I have also heard biamp vs passive and I’m not quite sure what that means. Is the stock radio a 4 or 6 channel system?Īre the tweeters independently powered or do they piggyback off the 6x9 in the front door? Will a key power them in addition to the four door speakers if so? With the option of maybe adding a separately powered amp/sun down the road. That being said - I am pretty interested in the kicker key 200.4, seems to be a good option for price and ease of installation…plus with some upgraded speakers all around I think I will be happy. I’m not looking to go overboard, I have very realistic expectations that you get what you pay for. I would like to retain all factory settings. I thought to post here to see what other people recommend. I have been looking around at all of the options for upgrading it and there seem to be quite a few. Aside from that I’ve never really upgraded a vehicle system. Stereo/Audio - 2014 F-150 Ford Radio Upgrade - I currently have a 2014 F-150 with the 4 Sync 1.0 Bezel.

I do have limited experience with aftermarket audio and more so with wiring…with the help of YouTube I fully installed a clarion amp with 4 x 6.5 and a sub on my boat haha. Went with the 302a package and with everything I have been hearing about how underwhelming the b&o package is I opted not to get it and instead decided I will put that money towards upgrading the system on my own. New to the forum, just recently placed an order in Feb for a new 2022 f150 xlt.
